DANI CARLAW, Producer and Director

I've spent over a decade in the television industry working as everything from a researcher for high end science and technology documentaries, and co-presenting, directing and producing my own fashion series, to producing and directing specialist factual, factual and entertainment programming across several broadcasters, genres and subject areas.

This varied experience has given me a great grounding in making extremely watchable, intelligent programming, often with a lightness of touch.

As a producer and director with extensive self shooting skills, my credits include;

Directing science films for ‘Event’ documentary ‘Afterlife’ for BBC 4 and the Discovery Channel, creating engaging short science experiment led films for BBC One’s ‘The One Show’. Series directing landscape and geology series ‘Scotland Revealed’ for STV, which includes directing 45 hours of HD helicopter Aerials. Producing and directing two films for Piers Morgan's 'You Can't Fire Me, I'm Famous' series for BBC1, directing 'The History Detectives' for BBC2 and the Open University, and series directing observational science series 'Make Me A Baby' for BBC 3.
